Social Only
All Amity Salsa class visitors enjoy free entry to the Amity Thursday Social (21:30 – 23:00), as long as they have attended a class the same day. However, our social is open to outside visitors too – please use the button below to get a ticket.
Beginners & Beginners PLUS
Our Beginners and Beginners Plus classes can only be purchased as a 4-week course. These courses restart every 4 weeks. Not ready to commit yet? Use the date selector below, then select “Try Out Class” and decide later. You can repeat a course as often as you like until you agree with a teacher that you are ready for the next level.
Improvers and higher
Choose between a 12-week pass, 4-week pass, or a drop-in class below. All our class visitors enjoy free entry to the Amity Thursday Social after their classes.
Venue details
Location & Transport: Faithspace Community Centre is located in Redcliffe, BS1 6PB, right in the heart of Bristol. It has 35 dedicated parking spaces and free street parking in the evening. There are a dozen bus stops within a 5-minute walk and the Bristol Temple Meads train station is only a short 8-minute walk.
Facilities: our classes at Faithspace are in the Chapel hall, which offers over 100m2 of wooden floor, a small built-in kitchen within the room itself, and a separate entrance with waiting area.
Sound & lights: we use 2x portable 240-Watt JBL bluetooth speakers, which also have built-in light effects and can play music all day without power if needed. All teachers are also equipped with wireless mics linked to on-body speakers to amplify their voices. We also have a dozen of party lights, ranging from floodlights, party spots, and disco balls.
Climate control: the Chapel hall has a built-in climate control system. We often also bring our 4x portable 12-inch floor fans to enable dancers to cool down again after a hot salsa dance! 🕺💃🔥
